Several people have asked us if we were able to do AmazonSmile for our adoption fundraising. I had no idea, and had to do some investigating... If you're not familiar with AmazonSmile, it's a simple way for you to support your favorite nonprofit whenever you shop on Amazon, at no cost to you!
When you shop using smile.amazon.com or activate AmazonSmile on your Amazon app, Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchases to the 501(c)(3) charitable organization of your choice. There are more than one million options, but because we are not a nonprofit, we are not eligible for this funding for our adoption. I personally choose to support Cornell College 💜 when I'm shopping, and Jedd's purchases benefit the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation 💙
BUT for all of you Amazon obsessed shoppers like us, there is a way you can support our adoption fund while getting your 'zon shopping fix... We earn a portion of purchases made from the links in our blog. And with Prime Day today (July 12-13), I thought it would be fun to share, in no particular order...
Our 15 Favorite Amazon Finds:

Also, although we don't directly benefit from the program, you should support your favorite nonprofit organization through AmazonSmile. You know you'll be checking out those Prime Day deals either way ;)
